With a larger wind turbine there is a small increase in the minimum wind speed required for it to start turning (and hence producing electricity).  This only has a minimal effect on the overall efficiency of the turbine, since there is very little power in light winds anyway; all 'large' turbines (500kW and larger) are designed to make the most of the stronger winds.
